Sooooo comfortable Bought these on a recommendation from a co-worker. My plantar fasciitis was killing me for weeks. I tried these and put my Powerstep insoles in and literally felt instant relief. After 12 hours working as a yard truck driver at a warehouse, my feet are not sore or fatigued at all. So far they're not overly warm in the cold weather but I just ordered a pair of insulated Wolverines to solve that problem. I'm sold on Wolverines.

Fantastic Boot So I’ve had these boots for a few months, they’re fantastic. They break in easy, and are so light, it’s almost like wearing sneakers. The only problem Ives had so far is the eyelets twist, not a big deal, but still, I don’t think they should be like that. Overall a fantastic boot.

An Investment in Foot Comfort I purchased an older version of this boot over 10 years ago and have worn them a lot. They are the most comfortable 6" boot I have worn. I love wearing them. When they were new I found the soles to be a bit more slippery when steadying my motorcycle and on snow and ice than those with traditional soles. The uppers have kept their shape and support magnificently. They have lasted much longer than I expected. I have replaced the insoles 3-4 times. I keep them clean, I remove the insoles each time I wear them so they dry out, and I apply a light coating of mink oil 3-4 times a year. They are truly an investment in foot comfort! Alas, I have worn the soles out and need to buy a new pair sometime soon. I hope the new ones are as comfortable as mine. Best 6" boot I have worn!

Decent boot, but not what I had hoped for... I do extreme outdoor labor for a living and am always looking for a quality boot. I've used all brands and all types over the years, but I feel a laced boot is best for me as I can achieve the ankle support I need, and I'm required to have steel toe safety boots. Usually a pair of boots (no matter the brand) last between 6-months to a year before they need to be resoled, or just replaced. I try to take care of my boots with regular cleaning, oiling, as well as making sure that they dry properly if I'm working in the rain, etc. I have had my Wolverine Raiders for about 3 months and I'm already in the market for a new pair of boots. These boots have held up well in the work I do, but the fit of the insole has changed drastically since they got broken in, and it causes a lot of pain in my feet by mid day. When they were new, it felt like I was walking in a comfortable pair of hiking shoes and I had no pain at the end of a long day. Now I dread slipping these things on every morning, and I can't wait to get out of them when I get home from work. I will say that the boots still look great. The soles aren't showing much wear at all, the stitching is all intact, and there are no parts of the leather that have collapsed or worn through. Aside from surface scuffs and gashes, they are holding up great on the exterior. The laces only lasted about 6 weeks before they both snapped within 2 days of each other and have been replaced with Kevlar reinforced laces, no biggie. So my only real gripe with these boots is how they have somehow failed internally. Insole cushion supports are not an option as the safety toe is already a little tight and close to my toes as it is, which is also a result of the internal failure. If these boots felt as good as they did for the first month, I wouldn't be writing any of this.

Eyelets do not stay in the leather. I work as a maintenance worker. After about two months one of the eyelets pulled out of the leather which makes it hard to get the boots tight enough for work. Other than that, the boots are great.
