"Good" but not "Great" footbed like the old "Switch" Flip Chacos become my main shoe for even the slightest of warm weather starting back in 2008. I was searching for a stylish open-toed sandal and flip that would give me much-needed arch, leg, and back support and allow me to keep my toes free! Folks at an Atlanta area Abbadabba's shoe store recommended I try a couple of brands, and I became a Chaco fan right away. My podiatrist was even won over, and now MANY are Chaco supporters, and my FAVORITE flip was the "Switch" flip whose strap adjusted to fit a wearer's foot perfectly while giving you a great footbed. I have continued to purchase "nearly new" Switch pairs on eBay, but that is getting harder, so I've tried several other Chaco leather sandals (for when I need something nicer looking that the outdoor ones), and finally tried to Maya. I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK, but the footbed and support is lacking!!!! SO..CHACO PRODUCT folks....just take the good-looking Maya and put the old Switch thicker and more supportive footbed on it (stick with the leather please!!) and I'll eventually buy every color!!!! (FYI, I am an "older" Chaco wearer in my late 50s who likes to tell my adult guys - even my outdoor rec son - that mom was way ahead of the craze on Chacos!!! I own 8 pairs of Chacos in various stages of wear!)

Most comfortable sandals I have ever owned I like to wait awhile until I write reviews to give myself time to really use the product. I bought these sandals 7 months ago and they are amazing. They are super comfortable (more so than my z sandals) and super cute. They go with almost anything. Whether I am in a shorts and a t-shirt mood or skinny jeans and a cute top - they look great.

Comfortable and Versatile These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. After buying them a few months ago, I hardly ever wear anything else. I can wear them with a t-shirt and shorts, with a nice sundress, and everything in between. The leather gets softer the longer I wear them, and they just keep getting better. It's so nice to have a cute, functional sandal that will last longer than one season.

Great all around shoe This is my second purchase from Chaco, and I'm definitely hooked. I bought these because I needed a summer shoe that would look good with jeans or a dress and that would withstand constant wear for a month as I was traveling and wanted to bring only one pair of sandals. They were comfy out of the box though I had to break in the straps a bit BUT I only ever got tiny sensitive red spots (no blisters) after SEVERAL DAYS of continuous wear. I'm talking like 8 hours of walking in them for a week. They eventually moulded to my foot, and yes, as others have mentioned, the strap did loosen a bit, but I hate doing up buckles so now the strap is lose enough to slip on but tight enough that it still stays up. Perfect. (I have not gotten them wet at all, which helps keep the leather tight.) In summary, I put on my old pair of flip flops that I once thought were the most comfortable sandals I could find, and realized how uncomfortable they were compared to these. I can't give higher praise.

Super uncomfortable for a Chaco (because of toe divider) Normally I am a die-hard fan of Chacos. I've gotten 3 pairs of the outdoorsy styles and have always raved about them, wearing them 24/7. But the outdoorsy styles aren't always appropriate EVERYWHERE, so I thought these cute Maya sandals would be the ticket for those fancier events and then I could just live in Chacos forever. They really are cute- I got them in the Bronze color and really love the way they look. I think they are true to size- normally I'm an 8, which is what I got in the Maya sandal, and length wise they fit perfectly. BUT the reason I wouldn't recommend these is because they are super uncomfortable- solely because of the toe divider. It is super thick and painful in between your toes. If that weren't the case (and normally toe dividers don't bother me), I would've given these shoes an A+++ (they would've been so perfect), but comfort is the #1 thing I want out of a Chaco shoe and these just aren't comfortable. Sadly, I wore them once (to a concert) to test them out so I can't return them, and I was disappointed that my beloved Chacos didn't live up to the hype. I honestly couldn't wait to take them off after the night was over- which is the OPPOSITE of how I feel about the outdoorsy styles. Sad to say I wouldn't recommend :/
